PAKDRY 1500 Back to Main Page

PAKDRY1500 features an incredible 38-pound puncture resistance, which not only provides superior drop test performance, but also is the best choice for the vacuum packaging of trays, reels and tubes with sharp edges. Suitable for ANY vacuum sealing system.
Because PAKDRY1500 utilizes the most current metalizing technology, its moisture barrier performance exceeds foil laminates for low Moisture Vapor Transmission Rate (MVTR), particularly after flexing. The multiple layer construction of PAKDRY1500 provides full protection against ESD, EMI/RFI and tribocharging.
The multiple laminated layers also result in a better light barrier performance than many black interior polymer structures.

Successfully used by NASA in a project involving exposure to a 4.5 MEV electron beam or 300 mega-rad; 6x the 50 Mrad common in Cobalt-60 gamma radiation. PAKVF4PC also fared well.
