Desiccant Paper - Silica Gel
Desiccant Paper features millions of adsorbent particles contained in a semi-rigid clean cellulose fiber matrix, enabling fast drying and extraordinary versatility in package design. Available in almost any shape or size, it is a clean, adsorbing paper comprised of silica gel.
Technical Data - Nominal Values
- Formulated of silica gel (approximately 67% by weight) and cellulose fiber
- Basis Weight: 0.153 lb/ft2 (approximately)
- Caliper: 50 mils (50 mils minimum)
- Weight of Silica Gel: 0.116 lb/ft2 or 52.5 grams/ft2 (+/- 10%)
- Moisture Absorbed: 10.12 grams/ft2 or 0.07 grams/in2
Activation Procedure
- Six (6) minutes at 300°F
