What is the Moisture Control System?

The Moisture Control System is not as complex as it sounds, but is nonetheless a unique offering that provides a vital second link in the desiccating protection process.

Dri-Box by itself cannot protect your equipment... to do so it would have to be capable of emptying a roomful, or even a sky full of moisture! Even if the Dri-Box canister were powerful enough to do this, for obvious reasons it wouldn't be a very good idea.

The solution of course, is that the desiccant canister and the related equipment must be sealed together in a smaller area. For optimal protection the sealed area should be airtight, watertight, reusable, and unquestionably durable. Furthermore, these conditions should be met while still maintaining the portability of the devices in question.

SorbentSystems' containers are custom manufactured at our own plant facilities to ensure quality and exact specifications, and provide a lightweight and space-conscious solution answering all the necessities of providing a sealed environment to protect your equipment. Ordering an individual Dri-Box canister provides half of the answer.

Key Features

Air and Watertight
The SorbentSystems barrier pouch is made of a special, layered polyethylene foil that is completely impermeable to environmental effects, ensuring a clean and uncompromised interior.

Resealable and Reusable
To complement the reusable nature of the Dri-Box canister, our barrier pouches make use of a Ziploc™ style zipper locking system tough enough to stay sealed under adverse conditions, but leaving you with easy access to your equipment. The pouch is tested thoroughly to ensure high quality, and is secure enough that it could even hold liquid water!

Durable
The foil of the SorbentSystems pouch is a flexible material that nonetheless is many times tougher than any equivalent plastic container might be, preventing sharp corners or protrusions from damaging the pouch and compromising its integrity.

Portable
Our barrier pouches are large enough to contain both the Dri-Box canister and many types of electronic equipment, including cameras and other irregularly shaped articles as well. The flexible foil ensures ease in packing, and durability means you can take it with you everywhere you need to go!
