Box Liners
Box liners are an integral part of packaging for many different industries, these include but are certainly not limited to: commercial fisheries; poultry processing; primary AND secondary packaging for pharmaceutical products; shipment of hygroscopic materials such as machinery, powders and other moisture sensitive materials.
The first thing needed to determine what type of box liner you require is to specify what you will be packaging. Is it loose fill or will the product be placed inside another package before being inserted in the box? Second, what elements in the atmosphere is your product sensitive to? Oxygen? Water vapor? Both? This will help us decide upon a type of material to construct this bag out of. If you are uncertain, please contact us at Sales and an associate will assist you in creating a box liner that is perfect for your needs.
Second, do you have a box already being used in production? If so, we can manufacture a box liner specifically to the dimensions of the box you are currently using. If this is a new area for you, can benefit from our large inventory of in-stock bags which can be found on this page of our website: mylar® bags For instance, our stock bag P/N: 18VF4C16 will fit a number of popular boxes like the 8" x 8" x 6" used for shipping jars.
Example of a box liner developed for an oxygen sensitive material used in medical product manufacturing.
Note Adhesive bag: Oxygen absorbers placed on inner wall of aluminum foil moisture barrier bag approximately 20 minutes prior to final packaging and closure by heat seal.
The following are standard boxes that Uline manufactures and the corresponding bags we carry to fit them are effective boxliners:
